That Monte Rei is members-only like several other exclusive Algarve clubs, and that its long-promised second course is playable.
What actually happens
It is directly bookable: the club's own site links an online tee-time engine and no membership is required. The North Course completed a 6-month Nicklaus Design enhancement programme in 2026, restoring greens and bunkers and expanding tees. The second course has been planned and delayed for years and the club currently promotes only the one Jack Nicklaus course — do not build an itinerary around a South Course.
